Differential Aptitude Test

The Differential Aptitude Test (General Abilities Battery) (DAT GAB) considers two types of reasoning to support the assessment of potential whether this is for personal development, further education or a new job role. It includes measures of verbal and numerical reasoning and is highly regarded as a measure for assessing aptitude and ability. This psychometric assesses across the general population ability range.


Verbal reasoning - 25 minutes
Numerical reasoning - 30 minutes

The Differential Aptitude Test is highly regarded as a measure of reasoning capability suitable for assessing an individuals ability in verbal and numerical reasoning. The DAT test report includes norm groups focusing on school and college leaving exams, this instrument is suitable for assessing for junior or administrative roles
