Talent Q’s Aspects ability assessments are unique portfolio of assessments designed for front line volume recruitment comprised of a range of assessments used to measure the fundamental skills and abilities required for front line customer service and support roles in a variety of industries.
The Aspects portfolio comprises Aspects Styles- an online competency based screening questionnaire, Aspects Ability- a series of short, engaging ad adaptive online ability tests for verbal, numerical and checking skills and also Aspects Judgement- a situational judgement tests assessing key competencies with a series of real-life scenarios which can be customised to the client role and organisation. The Aspects range of ability assessments are available in over 40 languages.
The Aspects assessments have a number of available report outputs that have been designed to provide clear, easy to interpret results to aid you with your people processes. Reports can be made up of as many of the sections below as needed for any of the assessments:
Simple report that provides the percentile score for each ability test as well as how long the candidate took to complete each.
Report provides a definition of each competency and ranks the candidate’s score on a scale of 1 to 5 and also shows the candidates suitability score for the role.
This is generated based on the candidate’s competency scores- it takes the candidate’s scores on each competency and draws together a series of interview questions that can be used to elicit further evidence during the face to face part of the hiring process.
This report is designed to be given directly to the candidate so they can see how well they performed on each of the assessments and provides some general advice on how to approach assessments of that nature.
Aspects Styles is based on a well-researched model of 16 competencies:
Aspects Styles offers more than just an online assessment- it also generates a dynamic interview guide that can used by hiring manager during interviews enabling them to create a more effective and relevant interview as well as an overall suitability score for each candidate.
Aspects Ability includes a verbal, numerical and checking ability assessment specifically designed for frontline and support roles. The assessments run as follows:
Aspects Verbal Ability test consists of 12 questions based around a passage of text provided for the candidate. The questions are timed; 75 seconds for question one, then 60 seconds for every following question. The average time it takes to complete is 8 minutes.
Aspects Numerical Ability test consists of 12 questions based on information from data tables provided to the candidate. The test is timed; 90 seconds for questions one, then 75 seconds for every following question. The average time it takes to complete is 10 minutes.
Aspects Checking Ability test consist of 8 tables of information, each containing 5-6 rows of data. The test is timed; with 60 seconds for tables with rows of 6 and 50 seconds for tables with rows of 5. On average it takes 6 minutes to complete.
